What I Wore: Go with the flow-y

Jeans, KappAhl; tank top (under my shirt, not visible), Joe Fresh; shirt, ???; shoes, Merrell; head band, Lululemon; coat (on the ground behind me), Mountain Equipment Coop

My outfits lately have been super lazy since we've been doing loads of touristy stuff and comfort is my top priority. I definitely don't believe in wearing sweat pants when traveling, but I just can't face wearing anything fussy when my day consists of walking for six hours a day, doing lots of reading and looking and negotiating busy trains. On the other hand, everyone here is so nicely dressed, I wish I were making more of an effort, but I really need my clothing to be easily adaptable and go with the flow-y.

How do you dress when you are traveling?

Love,
Rosie

  1. For some reason, my mum, sister and I always have massive stresses about what to wear when travelling! When we go skiing we always try and wear our bulkiest clothes and moon boots so we've got plenty of room in the cases for pretty things to wear for dinner!

I went with the 13 inch MacBook Pro because I carry it around to court and such and the 15 inch was just too big and heavy! I loooveee it! :) x

  4. It really depends on how I'm traveling. These days I go camping a lot, which means jeans and sweats. But if I was traveling somewhere swankier I'd probably push my look a lot more. Still, basic black and jeans are always chic, the problem is the shoes. A good pair a of really chic yet comfortable walking shoes still eludes me.

  5. I generally wear stuff that's easy on a long trip - so skirts with singlets and cardigans or shorts. Usuall with sandals or some kind of uber comfy heel x

  6. when i'm travelling, i don't take ANYTHING into account - how much walking i'm going to be doing, how hot it will be, blah blah blah. if i went on a cruise to the ice caps you bet i'd pack my bikini. i'm rubbish :')
    you look lovely though!

  8. I wear comfy, and often a litle boring, clothes when I travel. I like to travel light and I want the clothes and shoes to be comfy cause we walk a lot during or travels.

  9. I haven't been travelling in so long I wouldn't know what to wear. I'd probably wear denim cutt-offs and a top that lets me move my arms. It depends on what the adventure is though! Hope you're having a good time... :)

  11. Comfort is king when it comes to travel! I always bring a cardigan for the plane right (even if it's hot outside, it's always cold on board), scarf, large tote, comfy pants and flats. Layer and stretch are the magic words :)

  14. I used to wear heels when I traveled, but, after regretting that decision so many times, I finally learned to go with flats or flat boots. I usually wear layers - often even in the summer since airports and museums are often chilly.

    Red is your color!
