Outer Space in an Outfit

This is pretty much the only part of Iceland I saw: the Blue Lagoon. Well, this is actually the outside of the spa, but it's the same water. I personally think it looks a bit like another planet. Anyways, when I was trying to think of a post to do today, I came across this picture, and decided to do create an outfit, using this as inspiration.

The jeans are simple at first glance, but when you look more closely, they have a lace pattern on them. I liked them, and so they became the base of the outfit. I wanted something a bit gauzier, more ethereal, for the shirt, but I think this works too. The jacket, well, I love the fitted waist and jutting sides, and I wanted something that felt a bit jagged. For the shoes I ultimately wanted the ones the Nicholas Kirkwood did for the latest Rodarte collection, but I couldn't find them anywhere. :( These have a hint of blue and a bit of a irregular feel though, so I think they work. The rest was just keeping with the theme of combined smoothness and jagged edges.
