Yet more pictures from my trip, these are from the day we spent in Stockholm, Umeå's capital.
The entrance to the hotel where we stayed. It used to be a prison!
A cool thing hanging over the door of a building in the Old Town.
The "Big New Street" (the street name in english), in the Old Town.
A cool building.
The entrance to the Royal Palace. I wasn't allowed to use my camera inside, but it was beautiful!
A pretty coloured building with a neat symbol over the door.
I ate the most delicious cheese cake, served by tall, thin and gorgeous Swedish guys.
The tall, slim, yellowy-orange building is the cafe where we found cheese cake and delicious looking boys.
There was a random crown in the middle of this bridge. You can see some of the city in the background. Fun fact for those of you who don't know: Stockholm is on an archipelago that consists of fourteen islands. So there are a lot of bridges and ferry boats.
Thoughts? Requests?
Love, Rosie
the crown picture looks really cool. in our first photo class our teacher talked a lot about focusing on either the foreground or background, and yours is a great example!
