What I Wore: Learning Layering

I want to apologize for the terrible posts lately. I don't want to make excuses, but I've been pretty busy, so I just haven't had time for much more than filler posts. I think things may ease up a bit now, so I'm going to try and do a photo shoot at some point and do an actual outfit post, and then maybe do a tutorial or something. If you have anything you would like me to write about, please let me know.

Anyways, I wasn't going to post today's outfit since it was kinda boring, but I thought I would share a detail shot of my shirts.
This black shirt may be one of my favourite shirts. In reality it's darker between the opaque bits, but I love it. The first time I wore it, I was wearing a mustard yellow tube top underneath, and it looked great, I plan on wearing that combination again soon to show you guys.

I have always admired people who master layering, and I think this piece will help me learn the art. It really takes a shirt from slightly mediocre to sort of funky.

Thoughts? Requests?

Love, Rosie

  3. I second the mustard yellow! gray or black too. I find that layering works well if you have one or two article of clothing with color and the rest sort of dull to neutralize it.

That's okay as long as you're healthy and happy.
