What I Wore: Hippie Pirate Undergoing Chemotherapy

Shirt, Old Navy kids; Skirt, thrifted; belt, Joe Fresh; scarf, gift; shoes, Aldo.

All in all, a pretty simple outfit. At the moment I am drowning in school work and probably fighting a cold, so comfort is pretty much the most important part in my outfits. And yes, this outfit is pretty much comfortable. Long sleeved loose shirt, long skirt, pony tail are all what I would consider some of the most comfy clothing. The shoes, well, something has to be pretty!

I thought the head scarf looked pirate-y. I was told by a friend, we will call him D for future reference, thought it made me look like a hippie. My mother said it made me look like a chemotherapy patient at first glance. Another friend said it looked pirate-y, but I had a pen knife between my teeth when she first saw it, so that might have affected her answer. (I was cutting a bad spot of my apple. I wasn't cutting human or animal flesh, or anything I shouldn't have been cutting.)

Thoughts? Requests?

Love, Rosie
