A Year of Through the Wilderness

Yesterday marked a pretty important day for Through the Wilderness. February 25, 2010 marked this blog's one year birthday. The reason I didn't post about this yesterday was because I wasn't quite what I should post about. Should I do normal post, and just mention it briefly? Should I do something big? Which is why I procrastinated until today to do my anniversary post, at which point I decided to go through all my old posts, and pick out my favourite from each month.

Before I share my faves though, I want to thank every single one of you, because this past year has been one of the best years of my life, and you, my wonderful readers, played a big role in making my life great, whether directly or indirectly. I hope to see another great year with all of you.

I mostly love this post because I love this outfit. And for some strange reason, I love love love this photo of me.

My love affair with these sunglasses began. This picture is from a few months later, but it's one of my favourite photos of what have practically become my signature.

I was enamoured with David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust era style. I never did find a powder blue velvet blazer though.

One of my tips: wear spandex.

This was the first time I took one of my pictures and made a polyvore set inspired by it. I have to admit, it was hard to decide what post to chose from July, there were a lot of posts I liked.

What can I say? I love these photos!

Looking back, I really love some of the pictures I took, especially the ones from Stockholm!

I mostly love this post because I want every single piece of clothing in it, but still, I love it.

I'm allowed to be proud of my work, right? There were several outfits from November that I liked, but I couldn't chose a favourite.

I still love it :)

I honed in on what image I want to project, but still haven't managed to pull it together into an outfit.

February 2010- What I Wore: Slightly Gothic
You see, you gotta keep 'em on their toes. I'm not sure who you gotta keep on their toes, but you have to do it. And going from jeans and tight sweaters to slightly goth over night certain keeps people alert.

What are your favourite posts from the last year?

Love, Rosie
